NCSD announces conferences and winter break
NORTHVILLE — The Northville Central School District will have parent/guardian-teacher conferences for all grade levels Thursday, Feb. 16, and Friday, Feb. 17. Not every student will have a conference. Parents will be contacted by teachers to schedule any needed conferences.
Conference times will be as follows: Feb. 16 — Elementary, middle and high school evening conferences from 7 to 9 p.m.; Feb. 17 — Middle and high school afternoon conferences from 11:30 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. and elementary school afternoon conferences from 12:30 to 2:40 p.m.
There will be a half-day Friday, Feb. 17, for all in-building students, who will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served to elementary students prior to dismissal.
BOCES and out-of-district students will attend their full day or regularly scheduled classes.
There will be no school for Northville Central School students during the district’s winter break from Monday, Feb. 20, through Friday, Feb. 24.

Mohawk Harvest announces new discount schedule, winter hours
GLOVERSVILLE — The Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market (Co-op), 30 N. Market St., recently announced that the new discount for all co-op member-shareholders is five percent every day, beginning Feb. 1 of this year. The Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market has also announced its new Winter Hours — Feb. 1 through March 31 the store will be open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Broadalbin Library to offer knitting group for children
BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Library, Wilkinson Memorial Book Station, will be offering a two session beginner knitting group for children in grades four, five and six. The dates are Tuesday, Feb. 21, and Thursday, Feb. 23, at the library located at 25 N. Main St. The group will meet from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be a fee of $5 to cover the cost of the knitting needles and yarn which will be provided to each participant. Pre-registration will be required.
