Fort Plain 62, Northville 45

After a week-and-a-half break, Fort Plain got right to work and led by 19 points at halftime before cruising to the victory. Harold Dettmer scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Hilltoppers (11-3, 9-1). Also chipping in for Fort Plain were Zach Sweet, who had 13 points, and Chris Hanifin, who added 10. Northville’s (2-12, 1-9) Kalob Russell had 13 points. The win moved the Hilltoppers to within a game of clinching at least a share of the WAC North title with two games to go.

Glens Falls 75, Broadalbin-Perth 58

Lee Girard’s 25 points led the way as the Indians dropped Broadalbin-Perth. Devin Zurlo added 20 points and Jake Martin scored 15 for Glens Falls (11-2, 9-0 Foothills), which finished the night 25-of-37 at the free throw line. Broadalbin-Perth (1-11, 1-9) had three players in double figures, led by 16 from Dom Kwiatkowski. R.J. Pingitore scored 14 points and Justin Ferguson added 11.

Johnstown 68, Broadalbin-Perth 39

Mitch Vdoviak scored a season-high 32 points to help the Sir Bills roll past B-P. Vdoviak finished the game with nine field goals and was 14-of-20 from the free throw line. His previous season high was 30 points, which he scored Dec. 19 against B-P. Nate Sweetman chipped in with 10 points for the Sir Bills. Ben Bellandi led B-P (1-13, 1-10 Foothills) with 10 points, while Dom Kwiatkowski and R.J. Pingitore each scored nine.

Glens Falls 46, Broadalbin-Perth 26

Skylar Girard led a balanced effort with 10 points, and the Indians held Broadalbin-Perth to just two points in the first quarter to roll past the Lady Patriots. Meresa Mason added nine points for Glens Falls, Tori Agnew scored nine and Kiley Sullivan added six. Kaitlin Wood led B-P (7-7, 2-7 Foothills) with 10 points.

Fort Plain 34, Northville 12

Haley Kilmartin scored 12 points and the Lady Hilltoppers played smothering defense to coast past Northville. Abby Boyer and Jenna Barhydt each added seven points for Fort Plain (11-3, 10-1 WAC North), which held Northville to just five points in the first half.

Northville 27, Mayfield 12

The Northville Lady Falcons would claim victory Tuesday night on Mayfield’s home court beating the Lady Cougars 27-12. Northville’s Lyndsey Wadsworth was high scorer with 10 points, Mayfield’s Nicole Little had 5.

Canajoharie 4, Mayfield 0

Alex Yacobucci rolled a 182-536 and Bailey Pitonza added a 189-471 to lead Canajoharie to a win over Mayfield. Canajoharie outshot Mayfield, 2,487-2,151. Chris Parino contributed to the win with a 183-471.

Mayfield 4, Canajoharie 0

Selena Barber bowled a 192-492 and Virginia Johnson chipped in with a 183-435 to lead Mayfield past Canajoharie.

Gabrielle Gomoz rolled a 166-420 to lead Canajoharie.
