GLOVERSVILLE — The Glove Cities Rotary Club is now seeking nominations for the third annual Mark “Doc” Crandall Community Service Award. It honors the memory of Doc Crandall’s life of service to others and to express their appreciation for the work of others in the community.
The club presents a member of the community with an award to recognize the person’s contribution to life in Fulton county. The award is accompanied by a donation of $1,000 to the recipient’s charity of choice.
The award is given to a recipient chosen by Glove City Rotarians. To submit a nomination, send a brief letter of explanation before April 30 to Glove Cities Rotary Club, PO Box 964, Gloversville, NY 12078. Include the name, telephone number and address of the person submitting the nomination. Rotarians may also make a nomination to the club.
The award will be presented at an upcoming meeting of Glove Cities Rotary Club.
