The little sisters of Hoboken are back to celebrate the holidays at the Colonial Little Theater, 1 Colonial Court, Johnstown, with the musical comedy “Nuncrackers.” The cast returns after performing Nunsense in the summer of 2010 and Nunsense II this past August. This is a family oriented show that and its cast is made up of several local families. The cast includes a host of local actors from the Great Sacandaga Lake area and Mayfield: Leta Aldous as Reverend Mother, also is the director; Cora Murray as Sister Hubert; Kathy Weber as Sister Robert Anne; Beth VanEvery as Sister Amnesia, also is the choreographer; Holly Reynold as Sister Leo; Jake VanEvery as Father Virgil; stage managers are Heather Allen and Holly Reynolds; musical director and accompanist Adrienne Sherman; drums, Frank Krumral; lighting, Robert Murray. This production of Nunsense is different from the others because it includes an ensemble of Mayfield children who add to the overall production: Molly Young, Elyssa VanEvery, Sallyann Agerter, Katarina Agerter Mayfield, Emmit Frisch, Katie Frisch, Nyla Page, Tabitha Picard, Don Anthony Murray, Kendra Martin, Royce Weber, and Maya Clarke-Brunetto. Performance dates are Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m.; Sunday Dec. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.
