GLOVERSVILLE — Middle School Principal Mark Batty has announced the names of 15 sixth, seventh and eighth graders who earned the school’s Eagle Award for the second quarter of the 2016-17 school year.
The award winners are: sixth graders Dalton Bleyl, James Collar, Sawyer Pierce, Rebecca Towne, Abigayle Walters and Zoe Williams; seventh graders John Heimer, Wyatt Rulison, Brittany Seyfried, Veronica Shults and Skylar Salcido-Lopez; and eighth graders Rachael Allen, Emily Bradt, Bret Coleman and Gavin Gordon.
Students are nominated for Eagle Awards by teachers based on their total performance in school.
Eagle honorees were each given a plaque and treated to a breakfast with parents and teachers in attendance during a ceremony held Thursday, March 9, in the school cafeteria.
