BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Senior Citizen Club held its meeting May 3 with 62 members present.
Donations were collected for the Broadalbin Ecumenical Church Food Pantry. A raffle of a celebration of the peonies at the Hildene was won by Corey Santo. This was donated by Dennis Jacobs. The 50/50 raffle was held and won by Delores Leggiero.
Paul Munchbeck spoke about self defense for seniors.
Members were asked to help with the June 3 Broadalbin Village Wide Garage Sale. Donations will be accepted on May 31. Drop off date is June 2 at the Broadalbin Town Hall from 5 to 7 p.m.
The trip committee announces the following:
June 27 — Sonnenburg Gardens and Luncheon Cruise on Canadaigua Lake. $60.
July 18 — Dutch Apple Cruise and USS Slater. $55.
Sept. 10-15 — Biltmore Estate. $499 per person/double and $149 for single.
Nov. 14-16 — The Miracle of Christmas in Lancaster, Pa. $325.00 per person/double/$78 additional for singles.
November (Date TBA) — Rockettes Christmas Show.
May 13-18, 2018 — The Ark Encounter experience. $590, per person/double.
Sept. 14-21, 2018 — A Canyon country trip to National Parks.
