An open letter of thanks

To the editor:

Last week’s budget vote marked a milestone in school budget history as it became the first time that voters were asked to voice their opinions on a budget that limited the tax levy. In the Northville District, our voters saw fit to approve our proposed budget by a 62 percent majority. The BOE, administration, staff and students would like to express their deepest appreciation to our voters for these results. In addition, we would like to welcome to our BOE Mr. Dennis Poulin, who will take his seat on July 1. Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to Mrs. Lynne Paul as she completes 10 years of dedicated service as a BOE member at NCS.
