The ideas seems to be catching on.  An estimated 300 boaters participated Saturday in the second annual Great Sacandaga Lake Business Association (GSLBA) Dam Tie-Up held at the Conklingville Dam. Boaters came together to float, tie-up, or simply cruise through the area around the dam while listening to the music of DJ Scott Price. Sunbathers, swimmers and kayakers played in the water while people danced on their boats and on shore. Visitors without boats came by car and motorcycle to enjoy the party at the dam.
