Fourth annual Walleye Challenge

Photos by Carla Kolbe - Thousands came out to the Great Sacandaga Lake Saturday for the fourth annual Walleye Challenge Ice Fishing Tournament, then gathered at Lanzi’s on the Lake in Mayfield to await raffle prizes that included two brand new ATVs and a snowmobile, as well as an ice fishing shanty, and various other prizes.

Thousands came out to the Great Sacandaga Lake Saturday for the fourth annual Walleye Challenge Ice Fishing Tournament. Among them were Carly Smrtic and her dad Mike, of Gloversville.
