Senior day at the beach

The Mayfield Bannertown 50 Plus Club shared their bi-weekly lunch on the Mayfield Town Beach last Wednesday afternoon with a hot dogs cooked on the grill and covered dishes to be shared. All on a perfectly sunny, warm day at the beach. The club meets at the Mayfield Presbyterian Church, 22 North Main St., every other Wednesday, resuming next Wednesday, June 16 11 a.m. for a social hour, noon for lunch and a meeting which commences at 12:45 p.m. The club president is Carl Edwards, vice president is Lorrie Valk, secretary is Shirley Frederick, and Joan Bezio is in charge of the treasury and trips.
