Last week, the Fulton County Board of Supervisors were given its committee assignments for the coming year. A recent revision of the standing committee system merged the oversight responsibilities of the former Health Services and Social Services Committees into a new Human Services Committee. The responsibilities of the former Economic Development and Environmental Resources Committees were also merged into a new Economic Development and Environment Committee. Committee assignments are as follows:

• Bleeker Town Supervisor David Howard: Finance, Human Services and Personnel (Chairperson)

• Broadalbin Town Supervisor Joseph DiGiacomo: Finance, Human Services (Chairperson) and Personnel

• Caroga Town Supervisor Ralph Ottuso: Economic Development and Environment and Human Services

• Ephratah Town Supervisor Todd Bradt: Buildings and Grounds/Highways and Economic Development and Environment (Chairperson)

• Johnstown Town Supervisor Nancy MacVean: Buildings and Grounds/Highway and Public Safety

• Mayfield Town Supervisor Richard Argotsinger: Buildings and Grounds/Highway (Chairperson) and Finance

• Northampton Town Supervisor Linda Kemper: Economic Development and Environment (Vice-Chairperson) and Human Services.

• Oppenheim Town Supervisor George Capek: Personnel (Vice-Chairperson) and Public Safety

• Perth Town Supervisor Gregory Fagan: Economic Development and Environment, Finance (Chairperson) and Personnel

• Stratford Town Supervisor Robert E. Johnson, Jr.: Buildings and Grounds/Highway and Public Safety
