BROADALBIN - The Great Sacandaga Lake Fisheries Federation (GSLFF) held its annual winter ice fishing tournament at the Sacandaga Boat Club in North Broadalbin Saturday, bringing 263 adult, and 22 youth anglers out to (hopefully) snag the big one.
This winter, the GSLFF ran its winter tournament in conjunction with the fourth annual Walleye Challenge, allowing for northern pike, perch and trout to be measured in.

Raccoon mistaken for mountain lion
JOHNSTOWN — Fulton-Montgomery Community College’s campus police responded to an animal complaint last Thursday, but it was a far-cry from the mountain lion several alleged was shot at the Route 67 campus.

BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Village Board of Trustees voted unanimously Tuesday to not repeal a long-standing ban that prohibits parking on Elman Street throughout the winter months.
